Take with a pinch of salt right now but according to some good investigating by Joystiq, the Gears of War 2 website updated today and well according to their investigation, the game will get a release in the US anyways of Sunday July 9th 2008.
Yes...a Sunday...well it hasnt been the first time anyways such a thing has happened. Anyways, the date hasn't officially been confirmed by Epic Games or Microsoft but they most likely will at Microsoft's Press Conference at E3 when it takes place on Monday so who knows what will happen now with Gears of War2 at that conference. Infact, as far as that conference goes now, all bets are off.
